Hotel Locations Incorrect: The locations and/or distances given for the Holiday Inn Express and the Hampton Inn and Suites may be wrong on the link to hotels from this site. They are located next to one another and are a little over 2 miles from the Student Union and dormitories. The Holiday Inn Express website is also wrong but the information on the Hampton Inn and Suites website appears to be correct.
Travel Grants: The National Science Foundation has provided support for the Symposium and that includes travel for graduate students and new Ph.D.'s. Unfortunately, the terms of the grant only permit this support for participants who are from North America. If you are interested in taking advantage of this please contact me at preardon@se.edu.
Athletic Facilities: Athletic facilities will be available during the Symposium. The track, football field and tennis courts may be used from 4-9pm on Tuesday through Friday and 1-9pm on Saturday. We also have a basketball court that would be available on a more limited basis. If you'd like to use the track, etc. at different times or would like to utilize the basketball court please contact me at preardon@se.edu. All facilities are located near the dormitories.
